Project Info:

This project used a dataset from Kaggle that tracks the on-time performance of US Domestic flights operated by large air carriers in 2015.

Summary:

For 2015, Texas (661) and Illinois (537) have the most flight cancellations. Weather is the top reason for a flight cancellation causing 2,397 cancellations all year. Southwest Airlines had 818 canceled flights in 2015. In May, Texas had 98 flight cancellations and weather was the reason for a total of 133 flight cancellations in May as well. Further research showed that Texas had extreme weather in May 2015.
